Copyright Takedown — when someone steals your video
Your walkthrough video is licensed to you. If a competitor or account reposts it without permission, you can have it removed from any platform operating in the United States using a takedown notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (the United States copyright law usually shortened to "DMCA" — the word platforms use on their report forms). Here is the exact process:
- Screenshot the infringement — the post, the account name, the URL, the date.
- Find the platform's DMCA form: Instagram/Facebook: Meta IP Report Form · YouTube: Copyright Complaint (studio.youtube.com) · TikTok: IP Report (tiktok.com/legal/report) · Zillow/portals: support → copyright agent.
- Send the notice — your details are already filled in below. Paste in the infringing link and account name, copy, submit. Platforms typically remove within 24–72 hours.
